February meeting at brand-new venue!

February 2018 Vancouver Pen Club meeting info:

Date: Thursday February 15, 2018

Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

Place: The Community Room (Meeting Room) of the Vancouver Public Library's KITSILANO branch at 2425 Macdonald Street (between Broadway and West 8th), Vancouver, BC.

Topic: "ICONIC FOUNTAIN PENS"--specifically the Parker 'Vacumatic', the Parker 'Sonnet' and the Lamy 'Safari'/'Al-Star/Vista'--- Christopher R. will talk about the Vacumatic, Armando will be discussing the Sonnet and I'll be doing a short talk on the Safari/Al-Star models. If you have any examples of the above models---they can be fountain pens, rollerballs, ballpoints and/or mechanical pencils---please bring them with you :)

Our Secondary topic is always Newest Pen-Related Acquisitions, so if you have a new pen/ink/paper/pen case/etc. you'd like to show us, please bring it with you. No need to RSVP for this meeting or any meeting not held in a restaurant. Hope to see you there!
