Newest Acquisitions (Virtual "Show & Tell") ~ part 381

Today is National Hug Your Cat day, so I thought it only fitting that we feature a cat-related new acquisition...and thanks to Stuart, we have something that fits the theme purr-fectly! 😸

Stuart: "The Parker 51 is an Aerometric type, from the 50’s or 60’s, going by the shorter length of the clip on the cap.  It’s dark teal with a Lustraloy cap, and a lovely Stub nib. The cat pen holder is an unknown brand, but comes in several colours and is a lot of fun."

"I’ve looked all over the pen for a country of origin and can’t find one…  It’s most likely US or English production - it came to me from Kilmarnock, Scotland."

"Here are a set of ink stamps made by Hero Art:

"The Vancouver Pen Shop has many styles of these to choose from, and various colours of ink pad too.  Just the thing to jazz up your correspondence a bit!"

Our thanks to Stuart for sharing these vintage and modern goodies with us!
