Stuart: "Here are a couple of shots of the Galen Leather Slip-and-Zip case which I brought to the August meeting."
The Galen Leather Company is a family-run business based in Istanbul, Turkey that makes genuine handmade leather products. According to their website, the "Crazy Horse" leather material (used to make this pen pouch and other products) "ages and softens quicker compared to regular leather (and has a) suede feeling finish." Stuart adds that "The green colour is beautiful, very rich and cool."
(For those of you who--like me--love trying to ID mystery pens, the writing instruments peeking out of Stuart's case are--from left to right--his Pentel Graphgear 1000 pencil, a Faber-Castell 'Ambition' fountain pen in pear wood, a Montblanc '146' fountain pen and a Lamy '2000 fountain pen)
Our thanks to Stuart for sharing the photos of his handsome new leather pen case!
