In case anyone is interested, here is a list of the tools shown (from L-R): polishing cloth, Moleskine notebook (to document repair details), loupe, pill container (to hold spare parts), gripper cloth, pure silicone grease (in small blue and white jar), long-handled screwdriver, mini Maglite, sparkplug pullers, replacement pen sacs, dental picks, Q-tip (!), tweezers, small barrel brush, sac spreader, shellac (in amber glass bottle), talc (in pill bottle), breather tube replacement (compressed air nozzle tube), mini hammer and hemostats.
It's not visible in the picture, but I also brought a knock-out block (used to remove feeds) to the meeting. It was given to me by Brian (a fellow VPC member who couldn't make it to the meeting), who taught me how to do most/all of the repairs I demo'd, when I was but a newbie to the wonderful world of vintage repairs. Brian, in turn, got the nib block from his pen mentor, the late Arthur Twydle, a respected pen repair expert from northern England. Arthur made the block himself; it works wonderfully and has a place of honour in my collection.
